Reports to:  Tula EU E-Commerce Manager, with a “dotted line” to Social Media Manager

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES (3-5 key responsibilities this role must deliver for success):

  1. Manage @babytula EU social media channel(s)
  2. Align social media content globally and re-purpose and translate any relevant content and/or graphics
  3. Source EU creators for seeding and paid partnerships, post & share both CGC and influencer content 
  4. Co-manage EU Fringe content & EU ad campaigns 
  5. Source brand partnerships for giveaways, with the goal of lead generation (email collection), managing and posting giveaways, including requesting graphics from Creative team
  6. Stay on top of social media trends & make relevant recommendations

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

 

Social Media Responsibilities
  •    Work with Tula Social Media manager to craft & implement the social media strategy, coordinating with stakeholders across the Company to ensure its effectiveness and encouraging adoption into all of the company’s social channels
  •   Manage and expand presence in social networking sites with a primary focus on Instagram and Tik Tok, with a secondary focus on Pinterest, YouTube, Facebook, and other similar community sites
  • Work with Sr Manager, Influencers (Dani) and global team to identify, seed, and manage robust influencer and CGC plan
  • Find promotion, giveaway and brand partnership opportunities in relevant countries    
  •    Develop and manage the social media calendar, campaigns and day-to-day activities. Duties include online advocacy, writing editorial, managing promoted Facebook posts, coordinating community-outreach efforts, developing social media promotions, etc.
  •    Become an advocate of the Company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate; partnering with Customer Care team when appropriate
  •    Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs, and analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results
  •    Regularly provide insights gained from social media monitoring into the Marketing and Customer Care teams, to help them evolve their strategies in a timely fashion
  •    Develop a weekly dashboard to measure results
  •    Monitor trends in social media tools, trends and applications
 
Consumer Events & Professional Events Responsibilities:  Consumer & professional events (pediatricians, nurses, midwives, certified babywearing professionals, etc). provide a great opportunity to build brand awareness & community, enhance professional relationships, and drive brand advocacy. The key responsibilities at these events include:  
  • Identifying & validating key consumer & professional events for Tula EU
  • Work with Ergobaby EU team and represent the brand & work with them to convey key brand message points with authority & expertise
  • Post event highlights to social media channels, gather consumer information, and monitor competitive activity
Public Relations Responsibilities:  Work with Ergobaby EU team to manage PR agency relationship including budget, bi-weekly meetings, metrics/scorecard/awards submissions and launch events.

QUALIFICATIONS

education AND EXPERIENCE

  • 4 year college or university program degree; or ten years related experience and/or training/or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Degree in writing encouraged, as well as 4+ years in social media experience
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants (Instagram and Tik Tok primary, Pinterest, Facebook, Youtube, etc. secondary) and how they can be deployed in different scenarios
  • Knowledge of social media trends in Europe ecosystem relevant to the Company
  • Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format, and build and maintain relationships
  • Team player, with the confidence to take the lead and guide other departments when necessary
  • Good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly
  • Good knowledge of principles of SEO
  • Public relations, Marketing, Writing, Community Management

WORK CONDITIONS

Work is generally performed in an office environment, free from exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
